Frequently Asked Questions

When should I start looking for my dress?

We recommend shopping for a gown 9 to 12 months prior to your wedding. As lead time can vary depending on designer, it is best to give yourself time for delivery and alterations. Rush orders are available, but extra fees will apply.

Do I need an appointment? What can I expect?
Yes! Our boutique is appointment only and can accommodate up to two brides at a time. To ensure we are creating a personal experience, we do not allow walk ins. You can browse our collection or book your appointment here.

Once booked, please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your allotted time slot. You and your guests will have a private showroom and bridal consultant who is there to help you find your dress.

How long are appointments?
A bridal appointment lasts 1.5 hours. However, appointment lengths vary depending on the type of appointment, which you can see here.

How many appointments can I have?
If you need more time, you can always book a follow up appointment to try on your favourites.

What should I bring to my appointment?
Other than your excitement, we suggest you wear nude undergarments; seamless undies and a strapless bra if you’d like. If this is a dress pick up appointment, you can bring your shoes and any accessories or jewellery to see the overall look. We ask that light makeup be worn as our gowns are in pristine condition and we want all brides to have a great experience in them.

Who should I bring?
A smaller party is always best. Bring your loved ones who are closest to you and know what you like. A large gathering can be overwhelming for the bride, and we want you to focus on how YOU feel. If your closest bubble is more than 5 people, we will do our best to accommodate you. Please let us know in advance.

Return policy?
All in store sales are final. There will be no returns, refunds, or exchanges.

Is there parking nearby?
Yes! Our boutique is located on the corner of a main street and is surrounded by free parking on both sides, along with two free lots in the back.

What is the process of purchasing a gown from Stolen Hearts Bridal?

What payment method do you accept?
We accept Mastercard, Visa and debit.

What size are your sample gowns?
Sample gowns range in size from Size US8 to US22. However, we know how to pin and clip the dress to give you a feeling of how it will fit - don’t worry!

What is a sample sale?
A sample sale is an opportunity to buy gowns off the rack at a highly discounted price. These are sold in ‘as in’ condition, with all conditions noted before being sold. At present, all sample sales will be advertised at the time of sale. You can browse our current sample sale items here! (Be sure to read our off the rack sample info before buying).

What is a trunk show?
A trunk show is when we house a designer’s most current collection or favourite pieces for a limited time – typically one to two weekends. This allows the opportunity to try on gowns we don’t typically have as part of our permanent collection. These are appointment only and we often offer something special if the featured gowns are purchased.

Do you do alterations?
Every gown is made to order and will require some alterations, even if they are minor. We DO offer alterations with our in house bridal seamstress! If you are interested in learning more or booking a fitting, please get in touch with us via phone or email.

Alterations are the bride’s responsibility and are a separate cost from the gown.
